FAQS

Here is a list of questions often asked about our Systems and Services

What’s your parts warranty?

Phones are warrantied for 1 year from date of service.  For replacements, we pay for standard ground shipping and include a return label for the defective phone.

Can I purchase the phones directly from the Internet – or use phones I already own?

Yes, you can purchase new or used Yealink or Fanvil phones. There is a programming charge of $15 per phone to program the program remotely.  Typically we provide the phones and program them in house.  The programming charge is built into the price per phone. If you do decide to buy from another source, be careful not to purchase phones that have been re-branded by other phone companies, such as Verizon and Sprint.  Call to check if  the phones you have or intend to purchase can be fully factory reset with the original operating system.

Can we cancel the service if we are unhappy with the quality of the calls?

Yes! But we don’t think that will happen. We go through extensive vetting of your network and Internet to make sure your environment is up to speed for voice over Internet communication. We’ll share the results of our tests and make recommendations for upgrades if needed.

Can I test a phone ahead of time?

Of course! We will send you a phone that is basically plug and play.  It will show your name and number to callers. Use it for up to a month, then make it part of your install or return it. All we need is a credit card verified on file.

Can I install the system myself?

Definitely. We provide drawings and YouTube videos of the 5 step process. We are always here to help walk you through it. If you prefer, for an additional fee, we can dispatch a tech to your location and do the install. We can also work with your PC or Network support person to perform the installation.

I have never heard of this Yealink company – who are they?

Yealink has been making reliable feature rich VoIP phones for 6 years in the US and longer overseas. They have surpassed Polycom and gaining ground on the more expensive Cisco phones in the last few years. Verizon has even decided to private label Yealink phones with their logo. Yealink makes a wide variety of phones from one for the basic user to multimedia phones with video capabilities. Some sets are Android based and have large touchscreens along with Bluetooth capabilities. All have a web browser programming interface for additional customization and control.

Will I have any surprises during the install?

Since we have been in business over fourteen years, we know some gotchas that can happen. Maybe cords are too short coming from your network jack, maybe there are not enough electrical outlets under the desk.  For this reason we provide an accessory kit with every order in the event of short cords or no outlets. Use what you need and send the rest back, we’ll bill you for these items only if needed. At least you won’t have to be running to stores on the day of the install!
